Master’s student, Callie De La Cerda, and Ashley Frost presented a poster entitled “Individual differences in empathy, but not mentalizing, predict visual attention to naturalistic social stimuli” at the 2018 Annual Meeting of the Cognitive Neuroscience Society in Boston, Massachusetts. The poster was about how eye-looking relates to the amount of empathy and theory of mind that some possesses. The SCAD Lab had a great time in Boston and enjoyed the snow and wonderful studies presented at the conference.

Congratulations Callie and Ashley!

The New Braunfels Science Fest

Dr. Warnell, Master’s student Callie De La Cerda, and other members of the SCAD Lab presented at the New Braunfels Science Fest. The SCAD Lab had local kids color in pictures of brains, practice their emotion reading skills, and learn about psychology. We had so much fun and can’t wait for next year!
