Lab members win poster awards

SCAD lab members won multiple Texas State poster awards this month. Katelyn Domer won first place undergraduate poster at Psychology Day and second place at the College of Liberal Arts competition. Her poster was based on her honors thesis and examined how recalling telling, versus being told, prosocial lies impacted mood and value judgements. Natalie Tucker won first place graduate poster at Psychology Day.  Her poster examined adults’ willingness to tell lies to children in both the US and the Netherlands, contributing to our cross-cultural understanding of lying.  Congratulations to Katelyn and Natalie on the well-deserved awards and accompanying scholarships!
